About Us

Keefer Productions Ltd., with permanent headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, makes films whose genres include kids fantasy/family adventure, romance and comedy; stories that explore the theme of unconditional love and celebrate living in the present moment.

Our pictures in development include three films: Present Parfait, a romantic comedy with a spiritual twist exploring past lives, The Eagle Beyond, a kids fantasy/family-adventure comedy that explores the worlds beyond, and Follow The Heart, a searing who-done-it and love story inspired by the divine between the poet, Rumi and his spiritual master, Shamiz Y Tabriz.

Our company is made up of three directors:

Producer/Director of Photography Bernd Heinl:

Bernd Heinl, of German citizenship and an American resident, has worked as cinematographer on dozens of German feature films, T.V. films, commercials and music videos. He moved to the United States in 1986, and since then has been working on American films.

Producer/Controller Iain Sanderson:

Iain Sanderson, Graduate of The London School of Economics, Consultant on personal income taxes and finances is both a Canadian and British citizen. As a Television producer: 32 episodes of The Doug Hall Show on air, also working with both film and theatre companies including director’s asst.: The Orson Welles Company in Los Angeles. He is also an Actor and a member of both A.C.T.R.A and The British Equity.

Producer/Writer/Director Doreen Sweeny:

Doreen Sweeny, a Canadian & Irish Citizen, has written Present Parfait, The Eagle Beyond among other screenplays. She has crafted over six plays for the Toronto Stage, including produced and directed Eating Disorders- A Comedy. For film she has produced, written and directed: The Third Ingredient (CBC and the PBS affiliate, WNED Channel 17 VISION TV) and Docu-Fantasy, John Howard and The Trees In High Park (Rogers 10 )
